Horrible!! July 29, 2010 Mr. Y. Ohlmeier i didn't catch a single mouse and they even manged to escape with the food :0
Excellent trap July 5, 2010 John Kingston (Bournemouth, UK) I bought one of these a year or so ago. It has been really good in every way. Most importantly, it catches the mice. One of the previous reviewers said the mice in his house learned to get in and out. All I can say is that the Dorset mice are not that clever. It very rarely fails to catch a mouse when I know there is one in the house, the first night I put it down. And it's large enough that I've had up to three caught at one time without their being too cramped. It is also exteremly robustly built, unlike a small plastic version that I've had 2 of. And the glass lid both allows you to easily see when there's a mouse or two inside and to easily clean it ready for its next occupant! I use a spoonful of peanut butter and a chocolate just to give them a treat! It would be even better if word spread in the mous community that my house was not a good place to put down roots because you just get carted off in a nasty metal box, but alas this has not yet happened. I must have caught at least 25 in the past year but each time I think they're gone, after a few weeks another one comes (unless of course they are the same ones come back for some more peanut butter).
Mice Escape! June 23, 2010 A. Callaway (Dorset, UK) In the first week I caught 5 mice with this, 2 adults and 3 babies (the babies all in on night!). Thought it was great to have such quick results. But, the food I left in the trap has started to go down but with no mice being caught. To prove I wasnt going crazy I put some flour down to show footprints. I put it around the outside and inside. This morning, there are foot prints inside the trap!!! So they are getting in and out with the food!
Good trap but seems they can learn it pretty quickly!!!
It works! June 17, 2010 Kay Rodd (France) Not wanting our kitchen invaded by mice but not wanting either to hurt these little creatures, I ordered this product and have had complete satisfaction. The mice are quickly attracted (especially by black chocolate!) but, once caught, have plenty of room to move around in. Letting them free is easy - you just open the transparent lid. Just one word of advice: don't release them too near your home or they may well come back.
Mousetraps June 11, 2010 S. A. Vaughan (England) this item is all the description says - 2 mice have already been caught and relesed far away since receiving the item 3 days ago.
