When the watch arrived I was surprised by the size and weight of the box. Wooden made in outer sleeve it is a quality item. The watch exceeded my expectations. nice and heavy with a quality feel. The rubber strap has a quick release clasp, a bit fidely the first time you use but a breeze with a a bit of practice, again an expensive option found on watches considerably more expensive. All in all at this price you can't lose. Highly recommended.

The reserve on this watch is no where near 40 hours. I left it off for the evening and woke up to find it running two hours late. To be fair I have only had it for one day so maybe it was just a blip? The metal clasp between the rubber straps is also the most uncomfortable watch strap I have ever used. It really digs into the wrist. I thought it came with just a standard buckle but obviously you can't see that from the picture. would have been nice to have a pic of the buckle. The watch itself looks pretty slick and feels nice but I am going to have to change the strap

Love watches , my collection is slowly growing. Not a collector of the expensive fancy watches , but everyday stuff. Well had been looking at these Editions watches from Rotary for some time now and since the price dropped, had to have one.
It's a surdy , basic designed watch with a few stand out features ,screw down crown , also ( on 101C with the rubber strap ) there is black hard matt plastic that runs along the watch case. Making it look rather unnique. The stainless steel back has 1895 carved out, with a glass window showing a part of the mechanism that moves. It's got quite a big dial , but not too big and the hands and numbers and markers are easy to see in the dark. To top that off , the strap has a nice double clasp clip. With even a few holes left even with my big wrist. So far have found it very reliable and keeping time well. The reserve is also longer than my Invicta Cordorba.On the whole a really nice watch that can be worn with almost anything. Despite it's size , it's not too thick to be worn under a shirt sleve. Hoping Rotary keeps updating this range. Great thing about automatic , Kenetic or solar watches , no batteries to worry about.

I already own an editions watch and liked the look of the 101C watch. I ordered from Amazon and true to their word it arrived on the stated day, well done Amazon!!
Back to the watch, it was priced on Amazon at less than half rrp. Not only is it a bargain, but its a beautifully crafted piece of watchmaker skills. the design of the watch is far removed from what you would expect from Rotary, however that makes it in a strange way far more desirable. it looks absolutely stunning either worn with casual or evening wear. some may find it a little on the heavy side, but this is in line with most automatic/manual watches.
the watch is automatic, however is does not need to be worn all the time as the watch can be manually wound, great, no need for expensive battery changes. the second hand gives a gliding sweeping motion with fautless time keeping. waterproof to Rotary Dolphin standards and a lifetime Rotary warranty, this watch will last for years and will become a classic watch to anyones watch collecetion
