Good supplier, awful watch. July 26, 2010 Jonathan Curry (Reading, England) I am a watch fan and own a few from various brands including Casio.
In the right light at the correct angle this watch is fine, but for far too much of the time it is very hard to see the arms and the face ends up being too cluttered. If the arms where a different colour from everything else, say yellow like the timing hand it would work but they are not. So one to avoid in most conditions.
Great watch July 8, 2010 Sal Bought this item for my husband who loved it. Easy to alter strap at watch shop, and glows in the dark, kids love it too.
Very nice watch for the money July 2, 2010 R. Cecco This is a substantial and heavy watch - all stainless steel, not chrome plated (which will wear off) like other watches in this price range. It looks very smart. In fact, the quality is easily on a par with expensive Swiss makes, certainly no worse than the Baume et Mercier or Oris watches I've had in the past. Admittedly, they were mechanical automatics, but the Casio will keep better time. I'd be feeling very miffed id I'd just spent £800+ on a similarly specified quartz Tag Heuer.
Those with less than perfect eye sight my have problems reading the time as the hands aren't overly clear.
As a cheap, sporty but smart looking holiday watch, this is perfect as it is also 200M water resistant.
Overall, if you're intelligent enough not to be bothered by the Casio badge, this is a great bargain.
Perfect gift! June 19, 2010 J. Brodie (London) I got this watch for my bf and he loves it! I think it's beautiful and a steal at £42! The wristband was too big but links were easy to remove after a quick Google search. You push the pin out in the direction of the arrow; the pin is the indented dot visible on the short side of each link. Had to tap the tool lightly with a hammer on a few links but still removed 4 in 5 minutes. He's had it for 3 weeks now and no problems thus far. All the parts move and it looks more expensive that it is. I know a few similar Casio models have buttons/faces that are resin painted silver and will eventually wear off to reveal black so I'm glad I found this one which is all stainless steel! I definitely recommend this watch
Let down by quality control June 17, 2010 Robert Bradford (England) Had two of these delivered. The first had a dial that was about one munute to the left of centre so the bezel wouldn't line up and the second had a sloppy and loose bezel. I would have tried a third but Amazon said they wanted to ascertain the problems and never send a third. I love the style and feel but couldn't have lived with either fault.
