I bought it to fix some hiking boots that I had. I found that it dried far too quickly to be able to work it properly into the cracks and holes in my boots. Once dried it became far too obvious that I'd put something onto the boot, and it very quickly started to peel off. For straight application between 2 surfaces that need to be stuck together it's great, but for fixing shoes or boots where the upper is coming away from the sole, I found that it didn't work quite so well.

I've used Shoo Goo in the past to build up the pronated heel of my running shoe.
Shoo Goo is now hard to find except in specialist running shoe outlets.
I wanted Shoo Goo to repair a cut to re-seal the air cavity in my walking shoes.
The repair was easy to do and works well.

Fantastic stuff. My son drags his left toe and wears through his shoe in a month. A repair with this stuff lasts a week, but now I use it to stick 5p coins over the hole and build up a layer on top. This has lasted a couple of weeks now. It is saving me a fortune in shoes.

The soles on my expensive sailing boots were both coming away at the toe and letting in water. Having used the shoe goo they are now waterproof again and looking pretty good.
